Eurobodalla Netball Association represents many are as of the Eurobodalla Shire on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Narooma, Moruya, Tuross Head, Broulee and the many suburbs around Batemans Bay all participating in the Twilight Competition during the Summer months and the full on Winter Competition starting in May with the Grand Final in September . The Saturday Comp attracts in excess of 63 teams from Netta to Seniors.

 

Umpire Development Day

On Saturday 29th May Eurobodalla Netball Association conducted a Umpire Development Day during our netball competition at Captain Oldrey Park Broulee.

We were fortunate to have two National A Badged umpires, Alan Melville and Chris Hall representing Netball NSW who were assisted by our own Eurobodalla, National B Badged Umpire Lyn Allison.

Umpires from within the Eurobodalla received specialist coaching from all three Badged umpires which was very well received.

During the day Alan, Chris & Lyn formed a badging panel to assess our umpires to see if any were good enough to be awarded a National C Badge.

It was very rewarding to see three of our umpires awarded their National C Badge, the successful candidates were Georgie Rowley, Kate Holder and Anne Hodge.

Eurobodalla Netball Association would like to congratulate all three umpires for their success.
